System Requirements (Agent)

Developing apps with the AardvarQ API requires the following:

  • 32 bit processor with MMU based system (ARM, Power Architecture, IA32)
  • preferred ARM Cortex-A class device
  • minimum ARM9 350MHz (certain applications might not perform well)
  • 128MB RAM
  • 256MB NAND flash (or external flash device — see optional)
  • 10/100 Ethernet
  • LCD display (i.e. WQVGA — 480 x 272)
  • touchscreen (or optional USB for external mouse support)
  • Audio
  • Serial

Optional:

  • 802.11b/g Ethernet
  • USB 2.0 Host
  • CF or SD/MMC port

Software assumptions:

  • Bootloader enabled
  • Linux enabled

Host System Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • System: Recent Fedora or Debian or Ubuntu — 32 bit
  • Processor class: Pentium Core Duo
  • RAM Memory: 1GB
  • Hard drive space: 1GB
  • Ethernet port

Optional:

  • development packages (including make)
  • Qt Creator from Nokia
